FAITH AND WELLBEING


An event in Inter Faith Week to celebrate contributions that faith groups in Lambeth are making to wellbeing in all its aspects and to share ideas for becoming more effective


Speakers will include Lucy Smith, Public Health Manager - Mental Wellbeing, Lambeth & Southwark Public Health Directorate

Juney Muhammad, Community Development Service Manager, Mental Health Promotion Team, South London & Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust

Doing the Lambeth Walk There were 12 Inter Faith Walks across south London during the weekend of 14th and 15th July 2012, just before the London Olympics. Two Walks were in Lambeth. Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Islamic and Jewish centres were visited.  
Conversations at breakfast The Interfaith Harmony Breakfasts in February get everyone talking.
Norwood and Brixton Foodbank Revd Ben Goodyear led a session about the Foodbank after the FTiL AGM on 11th June 2013
Lambeth Country Show Enter a Quiz, Write a Prayer, and Collect Information at the Inter Faith Stall
Inter Faith Walk 2013 This was the programme on Saturday 7th September 2013. There are pictures in the gallery and you can read a report by Jane Wenlock.
Euro - election hustings FTiL hosted hustings on 29 April 2014 with a candidate from the lists of each of five parties: Conservative, Green, Labour, Liberal Democrat, UKIP.
IF Walk on 20-09-14 This year's Inter Faith Walk was a west to east route from Clapham Common to Loughborough Junction. Six centres were visited: a church (Anglican), two Buddhist centres (one Tibetan and one Japanese by tradition), two Islamic centres (one Shi'a, one Sunni), and a Brahma Kumaris centre. Read Jane Wenlock's article.
